Do you use AI in your work?

This is an emphatic NO, I do not use AI in my work. Before switching to digital painting in 2011, I used materials such as oil, acrylic, colored pencils, gouache, and graphite, usually drawn/painted on cold press Bristol board or art panels gessoed with a Kaolin clay base. This traditional background has given my digital works a painterly quality, and because Generative AI was built on scraped (stolen) artwork by humans, people have begun to mix up what they are looking at. To reassure collectors that my work is not AI, I have run a few of my more popular pieces through AI detectors and shared the results publicly, as well as posted sketching timelapses for some of my pieces on social media. While I do feel that AI could benefit mankind when it comes to science, medicine, safety or research (and if we can solve the environmental impact it causes), I am adamantly against using it for any creative process.

Do you exhibit at conventions?

I participate in conventions very rarely, and usually only by invitation. My work can be regularly viewed and purchased at The Hive Gallery and Studios in Downtown Los Angeles, as well as in rotating group and solo exhibitions at a variety of galleries and spaces throughout the year. What is an "archival giclée print"?

A giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is a museum-quality print. From the French verb gicler, meaning squirt or spray, the process uses high-end, fade-resistant pigment inks on heavy-weight, specialized fine art papers. This ensures the artwork remains vibrant and beautifully preserved for decades without yellowing or fading. All of my prints use premium acid-free matte fine art paper with a luxurious feel, and are printed using aqueous pigment inks that will resist fading for over 100 years. The prints available in my store online are the same as those offered in galleries.

Why are your prints in such a wide variety of funky sizes?

I select print sizes based on how a particular artwork will look the best, rather than simply going with standard print sizes. You will find a wide range to choose from, including standard sizes such as 4”x6”, 5”x7”, and 11”x17”, as well as more unusual sizes and shapes, including contemporary square prints.

How are the prints packaged and shipped?

Fine art prints are carefully packaged to ensure there will be no damage during shipment. All prints are protected inside clear plastic bags. Sizes up to up to 9”x12" are mailed inside rigid cardboard stay-flat envelopes, while larger prints are shipped rolled inside heavy-duty kraft mailing tubes. I have arranged for shipping that protects the artwork while remaining as budget friendly as possible to my collectors.

Can I request a custom print size?

Custom sizes are available by request. Please reach out via the Contact page with the size you are looking for and your shipping location, and I will respond with an estimated cost.

Do you take commissions? How can I contact you directly?

Yes, I do take commissions on a case-by-case basis. You can reach me via the form on the Contact page, give me a few intro details on what you are looking for, and I will reply via email to discuss your project. You can also send me a general “hello” regarding anything else through the same form. Keep in mind that I am a one-woman show and handle everything myself, but I do try to respond within 24 business hours. 😊

Can I cancel or change the delivery address on my print order?

Because my printing partner automatically starts processing your print within hours of your purchase, I cannot accommodate cancellations or address changes. Please double-check your checkout details carefully before submitting your order. If an order arrives damaged, please refer to my Returns and Damaged Orders section at the bottom of this page.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I generally can ship worldwide. Just select the International Shipping option at checkout. International transit generally takes 2–4 weeks. Please note that international buyers are entirely responsible for any local import taxes, customs duties, or VAT fees charged by their destination country upon delivery.

You paint a lot of punx. Are you a punk chick?

I prefer not to label myself. I love punk music, aesthetics, values, and (most of) the people, but I also love fantasy cosplay, classical music, old books, and unicorns, among myriad other things that don’t “match up”. I prefer to just be a multifaceted artist girl. 😊 No label required.

Returns & Exchanges
Because all of my archival fine art prints are custom-printed to order through our professional printing lab, I do not accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases. Please double-check your print sizes and shipping address carefully before finalizing your order.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your print arrives damaged during transit, or if you received the wrong item, Dani will happily replace it at no extra cost to you.

To request a replacement for a print damaged during shipping, please reach out via the provided contact form within 7 days of delivery with the following information:

  1. Your Order Number

You will be contacted via email and asked to provide the following:

  1. A clear photo of the damaged print

  2. A clear photo of the shipping mailer/tube (this helps us file a claim with the postal carrier)

Once verified, a replacement print will be expedited to you.
